With almost 58% in January 2012, it is more than 4 times as widespread as the number two on the list. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nginx, another open-source web server (BSD license), has just overtaken Microsoft IIS, according to this current study, and is in second place with a 12.18% market share (MS IIS 12.14%).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It should be noted, however, that the number of web servers using Apache increased abruptly in May-June 2011 (almost a doubling). This &#8220;jump&#8221; probably cannot be explained (solely) by a spontaneous increase in Apache web servers. Presumably, a changed measurement method is the reason&#8230;?
