We developed a plugin for our client that retrieves the Google rank (Keyword / URL).
It is designed to be quite simple and retrieves the position as long as the entry appears within the first 100 results.
The plugin utilizes SerpAPI, allowing for up to 250 free requests per month. One request is a SerpAPI call that processes 10 Google results. Therefore, if a result is at position 78, 8 API calls are required. Paid plans allow for more calls per month (see https://serpapi.com/pricing).
