Just in time for the end of the year – before the mandate for businesses to electronically archive their email communication begins on January 1, 2017 – SaaS Web is launching a managed email archiving solution for businesses. Unlike most offerings, this is a cloud application classified by storage space and by the number of emails to be archived per month (analogous to SaaS Web Mail tariffs, which were designed based on outgoing emails).
The solution offers audit-proof archiving, a modern web interface for searching archived emails, and a well-designed role-based user management system (Admin, Auditor, User). The emails to be archived are encrypted and stored on redundant cloud storage.
The SaaS Web offering is based on the open-source project Mailpiler.
