Managed WordPress Hosting for 6 Years
As SaaS Web, we were among the first providers of Managed WordPress Hosting in Germany: as early as 2011, we recognized that WordPress is an excellent CMS for corporate websites and, above all, that companies do not want to (or cannot) handle software maintenance themselves. Back then, we were already installing WordPress for clients (no APS packages) and updating the core, themes, and plugins during operation. In the process, we have also evolved into WordPress specialists and continuously develop custom websites (a diverse mix of themes, plugins, and widgets).
Google Search: On Page 2 in France
We only launched the French version of the SaaS Web homepage in 2017 (late February), incorporating the majority of the products offered into the French-language portfolio, including WordPress, of course.
It is interesting to note that SaaS Web can already be found on page 2 (position 1) for the search term “Hébergement WordPress managé,” which translates to “Managed WordPress Hosting.”
Google Search: On Page 10 in Germany
As previously explained, the Managed WordPress Hosting offer has been available on the web for a good 6 years—in its current form for about 2.5 years. However, it is surprising that our WordPress offer only appears on page 8, position 10 in Google, and sometimes even on page 9 or page 10.
This can certainly be explained: there are likely more providers in Germany. Furthermore, the fact that English terms are used in Germany explains many other results. In fact, despite the query being entered on google.de, the Google results contain numerous English-language providers and websites regarding WordPress, including those that are certainly not targeting German customers.
Search Engine Optimization is the magic word
Actually, it should be called Google optimization, as there are effectively no other (relevant) search engines. In any case, we also rely on being found on the web, even though our loyal clientele brings us more and more hosting projects and we gain new customers through referrals.
